Located in the heart of the historic Cotton Factory, The Mule Spinner is Hamilton's premier boutique event space and recording studio.

We are more than just a room; we are a vibrant cultural hub where industrial heritage meets modern creativity. From the intimate warmth of a solo acoustic set to the high-energy buzz of a corporate launch, we provide an atmosphere that is as unique as the people who walk through our doors.

The Mule Spinner's unique rustic factory patina has a vintage clubhouse vibe that is the reason it’s been chosen for use in dozens of movies from The Umbrella Academy to Murdoch Mysteries, as well as an intimate venue for live recording and live music videos, record releases, and even birthday parties.

Venue Info

Build your own venue rental, handle the bar yourself or let us do it for you!

Rental rates: $120 per hour

Minimum booking time: 3 hours

Security deposit: 50% of the final payment the day before the event

Cleaning fee: $150 if food / drinks are being served

Maximum capacity: 100 people

Square footage: 1500 square feet

Venue AV Technology: Speaker PA system, Microphone, Small mixer

Seating options: Mix of couches, chairs, and stools. Furniture can be moved

Alcohol policy: DIY events must provide PAL insurance and a Valid Special Occasion Permit
